We are a high-performing Pupil Referral Unit offering a unique approach to learning based on vocational programmes and integrated learning models. Students achieve beyond expectations in all Key Stages.
We are looking to appoint inspiring Teachers of GCSE Maths, Science and English who will join a community of staff dedicated to transforming the lives of our students. They have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools and often have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. In this role you will have the opportunity to teach, inspire and develop.
The successful candidates will hold a QTS and have successful teaching experience at KS3 and KS4.

We are looking for an inspiring and resilient Primary Phase Teacher to work with our year 7 and year 8 intervention students.
The ideal candidate will hold QTS and have successful teaching experience at Key Stage 2, with a preference for experience in years 5 and 6.

Teaching Assistants

We are looking to recruit experienced teaching assistants who support our vision to provide an outstanding education to some of the boroughs most vulnerable learners. Our students have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools and often have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing classroom support to teaching staff. Therefore, we welcome applications from those who have excellent English, Maths and Science skills. They will also need to have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills to enure our students have the best education experience.

Communications Lead and PA to the Headteacher
One Year Fixed Term Contract: Term Time Only plus one week
Salary: P04 point 37 to 39 pro rata
Abbey Manor College is a highly successful, multi-cultural Pupil Referral Unit in Lewisham.
Under the latest Ofsted framework, we were judged Exceptional in two areas and strong in all others. This means our practice sets national standards.
We are looking for a Communications Lead and Personal Assistant to the Headteacher to help support and drive our continued success. This is a busy and demanding role where you will deliver the full range of duties to support the Headteacher in her day-to-day work and complete projects. You will need to have plenty of initiative and flexibility to respond to situations as they arise.
You will have the ability and confidence to work independently, balancing a number of projects at once, remaining calm and professional when under pressure. You will approach tasks with a positive can-do attitude, working with accuracy and attention to detail, have excellent written and verbal communication and IT skills and have experience in managing our social media presence and creating content. Most importantly, you must be confidential and discreet, as you will be handling sensitive information.
