Diversity & Inclusion
We are proud to be a diverse, multi-ethnic community in Lewisham where different cultures, experiences and perspectives strengthen who we are. Our students arrive with unique stories and talents, and we create a safe, respectful environment where they can rebuild confidence, rediscover a love of learning and plan positively for their futures.
We actively encourage open conversation, mutual respect and understanding. Through our curriculum, enrichment activities and one-off events, we create opportunities for students to share their heritage and perspectives.

First Aid – Wellbeing & Safety for Others
Our Wellbeing Hub delivers accredited Youth First Aid training, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the safe use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). This training equips students with essential, life-saving skills, increasing their confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations and promoting real-world skills of real value to the community.
To date, 39 Year 10 and Year 11 students have successfully achieved the Youth First Aid Award, demonstrating both practical competence and a commitment to supporting the wellbeing and safety of others.

Tailored Workshops & Courses
Alongside the ASDAN Short Courses, students can take part in tailored workshops and short PSHE sessions at the Hub – designed to support their social, emotional and personal development. Topics include
- Emotional Wellbeing
- Alcohol and Drugs
- Social Media & Digital Awareness
- British Values
- Healthy Relationships
- Careers and Your Future
These targeted interventions address individual needs, promote positive behaviour, and encourage personal responsibility. Through the Hub’s inclusive and timely support, particularly for those at risk of disengagement or experiencing mental health difficulties, pupils build confidence, develop essential life skills and gain the understanding needed to make safe, informed choices, enabling them to thrive within the school community.

Our Partnerships
The Hub works closely with NHS services, the local authority, voluntary and community sector organisations. This collaborative approach helps to deliver joined-up support, avoid duplication, and ensure students receive timely and appropriate care.
We have worked with Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust to deliver workshops on Sexual Health.
