Our Ambassador Programme

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela

At Abbey Manor College, our Student Leadership Team are known as Ambassadors.
The team is made up of eight students from Year 10 and Year 11 who represent the values, standards and aspirations of the College. Our Ambassadors are positive role models who lead by example and contribute actively to school life.

Students apply formally for the role and take part in an interview process - demonstrating their commitment and enthusaism towards supporting our school community. Successful applicants then complete a six-week leadership training programme before being formally appointed. This programme develops key skills such as communication, teamwork, confidence and responsibility, ensuring students are well prepared for the role.

Once appointed, Ambassadors work collaboratively to support students and staff and play a key role in promoting a culture of honesty, integrity and respect across the College and help foster a safe, inclusive and aspirational learning environment.
