Leading Parent Partnership
Dear Parent,
Abbey Manor College is proud to introduce the Leading Parent Partnership Award
Leading Parent Partnership Award – LPPA What is the Leading Parent Partnership Award? At Abbey Manor College we want to do everything we possibly can to help parents and families to support their children. We believe that when schools and parents work together in partnership to support the learning and welfare of young people the student is more likely to have a positive experience of school and more successful outcomes in terms of both learning and wellbeing. The Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)is a nationally recognised award achievable by schools who work very closely with the families of their pupils. The assessment for the Award is made by an external advisor. We are using the LPPA to help strengthen our school’s partnership with parents. The work will provide us with a valuable school improvement tool and also give us recognition for our commitment to working with parents. During this Award process we hope to build on the many strengths we already have with parents. We want to provide opportunities for parents to have a voice in everyday school life. Work to achieve this award started in October 2021 and hope to achieve the accreditation during academic year in May 2022. The LPPA aims to improve Parent Partnership across six areas
The LPPA consists of ten evidence-based Objectives which schools must meet to get the award:
What difference will the award make to the work done with families at Abbey Manor College? It will make our work with families even better. It will improve our communication and build more activities for families in school. As you know we are always trying to improve and completing this award will help us do that! How can families help us gain the award?
We will keep you up to date of our progress! Thank you for your support. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us on 020 8297 7060.
