We are a high-performing Pupil Referral Unit with a unique approach to learning that blends vocational programmes with integrated learning models. Our students achieve beyond expectations across all Key Stages.

We are now seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to join our dedicated community of staff who transform the lives of young people. Many of our students have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools and may face behavioural, emotional and social challenges. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach, inspire, and nurture creativity in a supportive and ambitious environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have proven teaching experience at KS3 and KS4.
  • Be confident in delivering the BTEC Tech Award Level 2 in Art.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about making a real difference.

Social Worker - Children

PO1: £44,235 to £45,825 (pro rata term time only)

Abbey Manor College is a high-achieving Pupil Referral Unit located in the London Borough of Lewisham. We provide education for young people who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools or are at risk of exclusion.

We are looking for a Health and Social Care professional to work with some of our most vulnerable students and their families. This is a key role in helping us to achieve our mission to deliver exceptional education to some of the borough’s most disadvantaged in our community.

Our students often face challenges in mainstream settings and may present with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties. At times, they can be both challenging and unpredictable but have great potential when supported in the right way.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Social Worker, Nurse, or Healthcare Professional with a proven track record of building strong relationships with a variety of professionals, agencies, children, young people, and their families. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, and we encourage applications from individuals with relevant experience working with families in comparable situations.

Abbey Manor College is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
