The pandemic has had a profound impact on students who are being referred to Abbey Manor College. We have seen a rise in KS3 students referred as a direct result of being educated at home. We have introduced a Primary model for our year 7 and year 8 intervention students. This allows them to catch up before returning to mainstream education. We are looking to appoint inspiring and enthusiastic teachers to join a community of staff dedicated to transforming the lives of our students. They have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools and often have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. In this role you will have the opportunity to teach, inspire and develop our students’ communication and social skills.
We are passionate about diversity and recognise everyone brings something unique to the role regardless of any protected characteristics. This is why we treat all of our people equally, without compromise. We are committed to providing equality and fairness in everything we do, including our recruitment and employment practices.
