Citizenship Teacher

Main Pay Scale: £36,745 to £47,666

(£52,526 - £56,959 for experienced teachers already on the Upper Pay Scale)

Plus SEN Allowance (£2,539)

We are a high-performing Pupil Referral Unit offering a unique approach to learning based on vocational programmes and integrated learning models. Students achieve beyond expectations in all Key Stages.

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Citizenship Teacher who will join a community of staff dedicated to transforming the lives of our students. They have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools and often have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. In this role you will have the opportunity to teach, inspire and develop our students’ communication and social skills. The ability to teach a second subject would be desirable.

The successful candidate will hold a QTS and have successful teaching experience at KS3 and KS4.

Centre Coordinator

Salary: L13-L17

Abbey Manor College is a dynamic and inclusive school, committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our pupils. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Centre Coordinator to join our team and help maintain our school’s infrastructure to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will be charge of our John Evelyn Campus as well as being responsible for special projects including oversight of facilities, catering, and building development. They will ideally have proven experience of management preferably in an education environment and hold the relevant qualifications.

Teaching Assistant

Term Time Only (39 weeks of the year)

The College wishes to recruit Teaching Assistants who support our vision to provide an outstanding education to some of the boroughs most vulnerable learners.

Our students have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools and often have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. They can also be challenging and volatile.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing classroom support to teaching staff, therefore, we welcome applications from those who have excellent English and Maths skills, or graduates who would like to start a career in education.

Location

Abbey Manor College, Cross Campus

There may be a requirement to work at our other campus.

Salary details

£27,507-£28,419 (pro rata - Term Time Only)

Actual salary: £21,931-22,699

Abbey Manor College is a high-performing Pupil Referral Unit Based in the London Borough of Lewisham. The college educates young people who have either been permanently excluded or are on the verge of permanent exclusion.
