Becoming a sixth-form student
The first step is to request an application form. You can do this by calling the main College number or e mailing the Post 16 Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you have returned this your application will be considered and you will receive a call to invite you for interview. This will be with the Post 16 Manager and the course leader for your chosen subject.
Students who are not previously known to us, or who are returning after a gap will be booked in to have a sixth form assessment.
Once these interviews have been completed, depending on the outcome and on the availability of spaces, you could be offered a place to start straight away.
Being a sixth form student
We recognise that many of the students choosing to join us post 16 do so to benefit from the range of support available to them.
Our aim is to help you overcome the challenges you may have faced and enable you to become a confident and independent learner, progressing onto higher levels of education and training.
From our sixth form students we look for motivation and the willingness to contribute to the College by setting a positive example to the other students.
